Dr. Debkumar Chowdhury serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata. He holds a strong academic background with a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from WBUT (West Bengal University of Technology), followed by an M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, also from WBUT. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Image Segmentation and Metaheuristic Optimization Based Clustering Algorithms.

Dr. Chowdhury's research focuses on advanced topics in computer science, particularly in biomedical applications. His doctoral research is centered on developing innovative techniques for biomedical image segmentation, aimed at enhancing medical diagnostics and treatments through computational methods. His expertise also extends to metaheuristic optimization-based clustering algorithms, contributing to advancements in data clustering methodologies.
