DR. INDRANIL SARKAR

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Dr. Indranil Sarkar is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata. He also served as assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Christian College of Engineering & Technology, Bhilai, Chhatisgarh. He has earned a Ph.D degree from National Institute of Technology, Raipur, India in 2022. He has also received his B.Tech and M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology, in 2013 and 2015, respectively. He has multiple SCI and Scopus publications in reputed journals and conferences.

Dr. Indranil Sarkar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata. With a robust academic background and a passion for research, Dr. Sarkar has made significant contributions to the field of Information Technology.

Prior to joining Sister Nivedita University, Dr. Sarkar held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Christian College of Engineering & Technology, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. He earned his Ph.D. degree from the National Institute of Technology, Raipur, India, in 2022. His doctoral research focused on cutting-edge advancements in his field, enhancing his expertise and scholarly achievements.

Dr. Sarkar completed his undergraduate (B.Tech) and postgraduate (M.Tech) degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly West Bengal University of Technology) in 2013 and 2015, respectively. His academic journey has been distinguished by numerous publications in reputed journals indexed in SCI and Scopus, along with presentations at prestigious international conferences.

His research interests encompass a wide array of domains within Computer Science and Engineering, including Wireless Communications and Networking, Fog Computing, Edge Computing, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. Dr. Sarkar's innovative approach to these fields has resulted in the development of novel methodologies and solutions aimed at addressing contemporary challenges in technology.
